Dr. Christian Song Joins Mass. Eye and Ear

BOSTON – (March 17, 2015) – Christian Song, M.D., a board-certified ophthalmologist, has joined Massachusetts Eye and Ear to provide comprehensive eye care and cataract surgery.
Dr. Christian E. Song is a full-time member of Mass. Eye and Ear's Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Cataract Consultation Service. He treats patients with a variety of eye conditions, specializing in routine and complex cataract and anterior segment surgery, and laser vision correction (LASIK/PRK). He also manages common eye problems such as dry eye and pterygium (benign external eye growth). Dr. Song sees patients at Mass. Eye and Ear's 243 Charles Street, Boston, campus (Wednesdays/Thursdays), as well as at One Montvale Ave. in Stoneham (Mondays) and 16 Trapelo Road in Waltham (Fridays); call 617-573-3302 to schedule an appointment).
After graduating magna cum laude with honors in biology from New York University, he completed his medical training and ophthalmology residency at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Song then completed fellowship training in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College/New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He subsequently served as Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at Weill Medical College of Cornell University and Adjunct Clinical Instructor at New York University School of Medicine where he was dedicated to the clinical and surgical teaching of residents prior to joining the faculty of Harvard Medical School.
As a clinician educator, Dr. Song teaches and mentors medical students and residents at Harvard Medical School.
