About Me
Dr. Maryann Heider has 39 years of experience in the field of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology. Prior to joining Mass. Eye and Ear in 2016, she was a senior audiologist with Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists (SOENTS) in Dayton, Ohio. She was a member of their original development team for an aural rehabilitation seminar for adults with hearing loss, The Kooser Program: The Hidden Impact of Hearing Loss, which is nationally known. She created public awareness of hearing loss issues through a monthly radio spot, The Hearing Health Minute, and a monthly column in The Senior Chronicle.
Before SOENTS, she was the Director of Audiology at The Learning Center for Deaf Children, in Framingham, Massachusetts. She has experience with all types of hearing device technologies. Her passion is helping individuals with hearing loss maintain and achieve a better quality of life through better hearing. Dr. Heider sees patients at our Hearing Aid Center in Wellesley.
