Biography

Dr. Maryann Heider has 37 years of experience in the field of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology. Prior to joining Mass. Eye and Ear in 2016, she was a senior audiologist with Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists (SOENTS) in Dayton, Ohio. She was a member of their original development team for an aural rehabilitation seminar for adults with hearing loss, The Kooser Program: The Hidden Impact of Hearing Loss, which is nationally known. She created public awareness of hearing loss issues through a monthly radio spot, The Hearing Health Minute, and a monthly column in The Senior Chronicle

Before SOENTS, she was the Director of Audiology at The Learning Center for Deaf Children, in Framingham, Massachusetts.
