Mass. Eye and Ear
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Mass. Eye and Ear upholds diversity, equity and inclusion as core values and imperatives to drive meaningful change within and beyond our organization. We strive to create a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment in which we respect, honor and celebrate different points of view. We welcome people from all backgrounds and want them to feel safe, valued and engaged within our community.
Like many, we feel anger, pain, and fear following the recent horrific events in our country. During the last several months, the COVID-19 pandemic has shed light on inequities throughout our nation, and now we find ourselves, once again, witnessing senseless acts of racist violence in both deeds and words.
As we work through the careful and thoughtful process of reopening healthcare in the time of COVID-19, we see new opportunities to address inequity whenever and wherever it surfaces. To our patients, we are here for you – to provide just, safe and equitable care for all, regardless of ethnicity, gender identification, sexual orientation, socioeconomic circumstance, geographic background, immigration status, ability and disability, physical characteristics, veteran status, political ideology, religious belief and age.
Our clinicians, researchers and staff are honored to serve an inclusive community of patients and families, who inspire us to continue to cure their conditions.
All are welcome at Mass. Eye and Ear. Always.
