Voice and Speech Research

Our research is centered around the laryngeal and central nervous mechanisms of voice and speech control in healthy individuals and patients with laryngeal and neurological disorders.

Research Summary

Our research goals range from optimization of voice and speech therapy and refinement of surgical interventions to econometric modeling of decision-making in clinical preference assessment to understanding of molecular mechanisms of subglottic stenosis and the central pathophysiology of neurological voice and speech disorders.
