Research Summary

Dr. Yonekawa has contributed over 200 original papers, editorials, and textbook chapters to the field of adult and pediatric retina. His research achievements have been recognized with multiple awards. His main research interests are in outcomes studies of new management strategies in adult and pediatric retinal conditions, and understanding the pathophysiology of unique pediatric retinal diseases. He is an Assistant Editor for RETINA, Deputy Editor for the Journal of VitreoRetinal Diseases, Section Editor for OSLI Retina, Co-Editor for RETINA Roundup, Co-Editor for Vit-Buckle Academy, and on the editorial board of JAAPOS.
