About My Research
Dr. Gillian Diercks has an interest in conducting clinical trials to advance evidence-based practice and the use of new technology. She developed an ongoing multi-center blinded randomized controlled trial to evaluate ibuprofen and the risk of hemorrhage after adenotonsillectomy. Additionally, she was an integral member of the team at Mass. Eye and Ear that performed the first pediatric hypoglossal nerve stimulator implantation in the United States and participates in ongoing research development and study of the nerve stimulator in pediatric patients.
