Affecting more than 50 million Americans, tinnitus, or ringing in the ears, refers to the perception of sound when no external sound is present. Tinnitus isn't a condition itself, but rather a symptom of an underlying condition, such as hearing loss or an injury to the ear. Since tinnitus is often associated with a treatable condition, it is important to see your doctor or an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist to determine the cause of the ringing.

For patients, the ringing can manifest many different perceptions of sound from ringing to clicking, making it quite irritating. In addition, there are no medical interventions that can currently cure tinnitus. However, there are many treatments that can help, so we hosted a Tinnitus Educational Seminar to talk all-things tinnitus.

Physical therapists, chiropractors, audiologists, sleep specialists, dentists, and mental health workers were all in attendance to answer frequently asked questions about tinnitus and how to treat it. Below are videos from the seminar for your viewing, broken out by the different sections of the seminar.
