As you have likely heard by now, Boston’s 4th of July Celebration on the Esplanade has been moved to Thursday, July 3. As of 7:33 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, the state plans to begin closing Storrow Drive in the vicinity of Mass. Eye and Ear at noon. Please monitor local media outlets, such as Boston.com for the latest information on road closures.
We want to emphasize that Mass. Eye and Ear will be open and throughout the 4th of July to care for patients. If you are coming for an appointment or surgery, we recommend that you use valet parking at Mass. Eye and Ear’s main entrance. If you have a physician appointment in the afternoon on July 3, we also recommend that you call your doctor’s office to confirm.
We apologize for any inconvenience and hope that you have a safe and healthy July 4th holiday weekend.
