Boston Thyroid Club

Future meeting dates coming soon.

All are invited. Please email Dr. Randolph or Dr. Konowitz for further details and case questions.

BTCThe last meeting, which was held in May 2015, featured a presentation on papillary microcancer by Dr. Robert Levine of the Thyroid Center of New Hampshire, and a roundtable discussion of complex thyroid cases with Drs. Gregory Randolph and Paul Konowitz.

The first meeting was held in June 2013 and had just over thirty physicians from the Boston area attend. This two hour meeting consisted of an update on intraoperative nerve monitoring during thyroid surgery from Dr. Gregory Randolph followed by thyroid surgery case presentations with audience participation. In attendance were attending surgeons and residents from Mass. Eye and Ear in Boston, the Mass. Eye and Ear suburban centers, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Medical Center, and Tufts Medical Center, as well as physicians from private practices in the greater Boston area.

This meeting represents the first otolaryngology-based surgical thyroid meeting in the city's history.
