Dr. Anita Mepani is an audiologist who sees patients at our main campus in Boston. She graduated with distinction and honors from the University of Michigan and earned her Doctorate of Audiology from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She then completed her clinical externship at Mass. Eye and Ear. She is a nationally certified and state licensed audiologist. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Mepani’s clinical interests include hearing loss in pediatric and adult patients. She performs diagnostic hearing evaluations for patients of all ages, including specialized electrophysiology evaluations. She provides a wide range of rehabilitative services, including cochlear implant programming and hearing aid consultation, fitting, and verification. She is passionate about working with patients with cochlear implants, hearing aids, and assistive listening technology to help them achieve their best hearing outcomes and an improved quality of life.
She also conducts research on cochlear synaptopathy ("hidden hearing loss") in humans.
