Dr. Sarah Laurello is a clinical audiologist who sees patients at our main campus in Boston. She received her doctorate from the University of Northern Colorado in 2014. During this time, she also earned her doctorate minor in special education, specializing in working with students who are deaf and hard-of-hearing. Her doctoral capstone project, “Attitudes of Audiologists Toward Individuals with Multiple Disabilities,” was one of five projects chosen to be presented at the Student Research Forum at AudiologyNow! 2014. In addition to her coursework, Dr. Laurello participated in a National Institute of Health (NIH) T-35 summer research traineeship at Boys Town National Research Hospital in Omaha, NE, and co-authored a publication from the project. Following her experience in Colorado, she completed a pediatric Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) externship at the University of Miami, specifically working with children with hearing loss and additional disabilities.
Dr. Laurello is a nationally certified and state-licensed audiologist and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Dr. Laurello’s clinical interests include providing care to patients of all ages. She is well-versed in a variety of services including pediatric and adult hearing evaluations, hearing aids, assistive listening devices, cochlear implants, and other specialized diagnostic evaluations. Her passion is for working with children and adults with cochlear implants.
