Dr. Erik Brizzee first came to Mass. Eye and Ear as a graduate student-clinician through Northeastern University. During this time, he completed the student diagnostic audiometry and amplification clinical placements. He earned his Master’s degree from Northeastern and went on to complete his clinical fellowship in Utah. He returned to Mass. Eye and Ear as a staff audiologist in 2006 and completed his doctorate while on staff. He proceeded to work in other hospital and private practice settings, until recently returning to Mass. Eye and Ear in 2016.
Dr. Brizzee’s clinical interests include diagnostic audiometry, evoked potentials, tinnitus, hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other assistive technologies. He holds an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association certification in audiology (ASHA CCC-A) and a Massachusetts state licensure.
