Cheryl Bakey is a speech-language pathologist who specializes in working with children and adults who have hearing loss. She is a strong supporter of inclusion and collaboration with other caregivers, such as parents, spouses, family members, and friends.
Her initial interest in this specialty area began as a first-year graduate student at Emerson College in Boston. Cheryl has been working at Mass. Eye and Ear since 1998. She is also an adjunct instructor at a local graduate school program for speech-language pathologists and has spoken at a number of conferences.
