About Me
Dr. Phillip Song is a board-certified otolaryngology–head and neck surgeon specializing in laryngology, voice and swallowing disorders, and airway surgery. He is the Director of the Laryngology Division at Mass Eye and Ear and is nationally recognized in the fields of neurolaryngology and surgical education. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, American Laryngological Association, American Broncho-Esophagological Association and Triological Society.
Dr. Song has published numerous peer-reviewed papers and has presented his work internationally. He has chaired numerous national committees and served on multiple education committees for the Harvard Combined Residency Program. He has been honored with the William Montgomery Award for Excellence in Teaching, presented by the graduating medical residents in recognition for his contributions in education.
His clinical and research interests encompass laryngology, neurolaryngology, voice disorders, airway and swallowing surgery and botulinum toxin treatment.
