Voice and Speech Specialists
Mass. Eye and Ear’s Voice and Speech Specialists are fully dedicated solely to problems of the voice. The Laboratory is specially equipped to restore the voice in patients that have lost their voice box to cancer – offering assistive equipment and specialized therapy to retrain patients to speak without vocal cords.
The staff is also uniquely qualified to manage problems of the professional voice – for singers, actors, announcers, attorneys, teachers and others. The Laboratory works with major performance art colleges in Boston including Berklee School of Music and the New England Conservatory providing lecture topics and voice treatment support for teachers and students in the performing arts.
