ENT Emergency Specialists
Mass. Eye and Ear provides the region’s only dedicated ENT emergency services with staff coverage 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. The Medical Staff consists of attending physicians, ENT residents, nursing staff and ancillary personnel. All ENT Emergency Specialists are Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Some of the conditions referred to the Emergency Department include nose bleed, hearing loss, injuries to the ears, injuries to the head and neck area, foreign bodies in ears, nose or throat, facial fractures, burns, paralysis of the face, sinus disorders, dizziness, compromised upper airway, difficulty swallowing, and lumps in the neck and throat.
