Medical Unit Staff
Administrative responsibility for the Medical Unit is assumed by the Chief of the Medical Unit, along with the Medical Unit Coordinator. In addition to the Coordinator, the department's full complement of staff includes Nurse Practitioners, a Medical Secretary, and a Medical Accounts Representative/Secretary.
The nursing staff members are graduates of accredited schools of nursing and recognized nurse practitioner programs. They are licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and maintain certification by the appropriate nursing board. The department's Coordinator is responsible for the administrative functioning of the Medical Unit and works in conjunction with the Director of Clinical Services and the Director of the Medical Unit. The staff includes Nurse Practitioners, a Medical Transcriptionist and an Account Billing Representative.
