Training Resources
As a Team Eye and Ear member, you will have access to an exclusive marathon training program to help you get from Hopkinton to Copley Square, for first-timers to vetrans. Training program highlights include weekly group runs, workshops and detailed daily manuals. Team Coach Fred Treseler is one of the premier marathon coaches in the running industry.
Training Clinics
Three (3) Team Eye and Ear exclusive training clinics will be held throughout the marathon training season. They will be organized and led by Team Eye and Ear Coach Fred Treseler. For those team members who live outside of the Boston area, you will have an opportunity to participate in this clinics via web conferencing. Dates TBA.
Daily Training Program
You will receive detailed suggest daily training program designed exclusively for Team Eye and Ear by Team Coach Fred Treseler.
Weekly Group Running Program
Team Eye and Ear members are invited to participate in FitCorp's marathon training program free of charge. Join in the weekly group long runs on Saturday mornings and the weekly group hill runs on Tuesday evenings!
Meet Team Eye and Ear Coach: Fred Treseler
We are excited to have Fred Treseler back again in 2012 as the Team Eye and Ear Training Coach. In his 36 years of coaching, Fred is recognized as one of the premier coaches in the running industry. He has garnered a strong reputation for successfully coaching and developing athletes to high performance at the high school, collegiate, national and Olympic levels, including elite American distance runners.
In his marathon training programs, Fred has coached over 3,000 runners to a 98% success rate. Fred will be developing daily training programs for all levels of runners to compliment the FitCorp group running schedule. He will also be hosting three exclusive Team Eye and Ear training clinics.
Fred is the founder and president of TRACS, Inc., and resides with his wife, Marita, atop Heartbreak Hill on the Boston Marathon course.
