Pre-award, Research Finance, and Regulatory Compliance

Research & Academic Affairs is responsible for managing all grants awarded to Mass. Eye and Ear. Funding comes from a variety of sources, including federal, state, private and industrial sponsors.

The Department works closely with investigators and research administrators in all phases of grant and contract management, from proposal development to grant closeout, including grant financial accounting. The Department takes pride in timely and proactive customer service, clean audit reports, thorough research administration knowledge, and teamwork.

RAA is also responsible for establishing internal policies and procedures in relation to research, education and oversight of compliance with sponsor regulations.
