Joseph White, Ph.D.

  Joseph White, Ocular Genomics Institute

Dr. Joseph White obtained his B.S in Biochemistry form Centre College in Danville, KY before earning his Ph.D in Genetics from North Carolina State University. He went on to do his post doc at Michigan State University.

Joe worked for several years as an Assistant Professor in Research at Michigan State and then as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Western Michigan University before becoming a senior Staff Scientist at the Institute for Genomic Research in Rockland, MD. In 2005, Joe joined the Department of Biostatistics and Computational Biology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as Senior Research Scientist.

Joseph White is a geneticist working in Bioinformatics at the Ocular Genomics Institute, where his research involves processing, managing and analyzing Next Generation Sequence data.
