Research Summary

Dr. Yin is a clinician-scientist who conducts research on the cornea. As the recipient of the NIH K12 clinician scientist career development award, her research focuses on understanding the interaction between corneal nerves and abnormal blood vessels in inflammatory conditions. She has also studied the molecular regulation of corneal epithelial wound healing and infection, and her most recent projects have focused on neuro-modulation of angiogenesis in corneal inflammation.
