Research Summary

Dr. Kloek is actively involved in undergraduate and graduate ophthalmology medical education and has led multiple curricular initiatives for the Harvard Medical School Department of Ophthalmology Residency Training Program. Her research efforts focus on advancing medical education nationwide. Currently, she is overseeing the development of a novel, on-line, virtual ophthalmology patient curriculum for medical students and is serving as primary investigator on a study to assess the effectiveness of this e-learning tool in training medical students in core ophthalmology topics. In addition, she has recently established, and leads, a case discussion series for medical students enrolled in the one-month ophthalmology elective at Harvard Medical School.
