About My Research
Dr. Jiang is an optometrist scientist who is interested in comprehensive eye care and ocular disease treatment, refraction, and contact lens fitting. Dr. Jiang has investigated the roles of Thyroid Hormone Nuclear Receptor Beta 1 in the development of retinal vasculature and established cell lines from human retinoblastoma tumors for exploring genesis in retinoblastoma. In addition, Dr. Jiang has studied the molecular basis of strabismus and addressed the polymorphisms in the ARIX and PHOX2B genes that correlate with congenital superior oblique muscle palsy.
