Dr. Zhou is a scientist who specializes in the immunopathogensis of adenovirus keratitis. Her research addresses questions that range from the precise contributions of bone marrow-derived cells in the cornea to specific aspects of inflammation in adenovirus. Her work plays a central role in defining viral entry pathways in the mouse cornea infected with human adenovirus. In addition to obtaining independent funding from Alcon Research Institute, Dr. Zhou's work has been published in several prominent peer-reviewed journals and has been presented at multiple national and international conferences.
