Clinical Outcomes Research Unit (COR Unit)
The Clinical Outcomes Research Unit (COR Unit) focuses on using patient-based and quality of life outcomes to improve clinical care. Under the direction of Richard Gliklich, M.D., the COR Unit has developed a series of patient-based measures used internationally for clinical trials, registries and quality improvement programs. Some of these validated measures include:
- Chronic Sinusitis Survey (CSS, also called Nasal Health Survey)

- Voice Outcomes Survey (VOS-5)
- Head and Neck Survey (HNS)
- Chronic Ear Survey (CES)
- Facial Assessment and Clinimetric Evaluation (FACE)
