Mass. Eye and Ear Welcomes Dr. Gregory T. Whitman

Boston – (Feb. 24, 2011) – The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary welcomes otoneurologist Gregory T. Whitman, M.D., a balance specialist, to its Balance and Vestibular Center at Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Whitman is a resident of Quincy, Mass.
Dr. Whitman has more than 12 years of experience in the diagnosis of dizziness, and gait and balance disorders.
Dr. Whitman attended medical school at the University of Connecticut, completed his residency at Boston City Hospital and Tufts, in addition to completing a two-year fellowship in otoneurology at UCLA. He is board certified in neurology.
In addition to his subspecialty training and experience in otoneurology, Dr. Whitman has experience in geriatric neurology and has worked as a general neurologist. His combined medical experience in general and geriatric neurology, and otoneurology, is helpful to diagnosing the causes of dizziness in individual patients.
For five years, Dr. Whitman served on the full-time faculty of the University of California at Irvine, where he directed the education programs in the Department of Neurology.
