Boston -- (Oct. 17, 2011) -- Ralph Pelosi, a resident of Dracut, Mass., has been named Executive Director, Support Services for the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Pelosi has been employed at Mass. Eye and Ear since December of 2007. He has been involved in overseeing many of Mass. Eye and Ear’s recent renovations as part of its Vision 2020 strategy to improve quality of care and access for its patients. This includes oversight of renovations to the hospital’s 6th Floor Ambulatory Surgery Suite, its O.R. expansion, new Radiology suite, new Eye Plastics Suites, its renovated Vision Rehabilitation Department, and more.
Pelosi has more than 35 years of experience in the healthcare field, including roles as Executive Director at Whidden Hospital in Everett, Mass., and Director of Facilities Operations at NSMC Union Hospital in Lynn, Mass.
