Otolaryngology Alumni Giving Society
Each year, generous alumni make gifts to support the vital work of our students and faculty in the Harvard Medical School (HMS) Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Their support helps drive continued achievement across all areas of education, research and patient care.
Making a gift is also a wonderful way to pay tribute to a former mentor or family member. You may also support a particular program or project that is important to you.
Please make a gift today at one of the following levels or the level that is right for you:
- Champion: $25,000
- Visionary: $10,000
- Innovator: $5,000
- Pioneer: $2,500
- Friend: $1,000
Alumni giving at these levels will be recognized in the HMS Department of Otolaryngology newsletters and publications. Mass Eye and Ear’s fiscal year runs from October 1 - September 30.

Potential Gift Designations
You may designate your gift to support the program of your choosing. Following are some possibilities for your consideration.
Your support of residency training will help provide critical resources, training tools, and mentorship to our trainees, preparing them to become tomorrow’s leaders in otolaryngology.
In honor of a loved one or mentor, fellow alumni have established named funds for research and teaching. Named funds can be established with a gift of $50,000 or more.
In our search for cures, we continually expand and enhance our efforts to explore the genesis of disease and develop new approaches to improve treatment. Through disease-based centers, we are driving critical advances in pediatric ORL, head and neck cancer, balance and vestibular science, sinus, cranial based tumors, thyroid and parathyroid, hearing restoration and regeneration, and facial reanimation.
Mass Eye and Ear physicians and scientists are leading innovative research programs in hearing and deafness, head and neck cancers, sinus, facial reanimation, pediatrics, sleep science, otopathology and more. Your gift will help advance these vital research programs and hasten the development of new treatments and cures to improve patient lives.
By designating your gift to this fund, you will help the Department seize new opportunities to invest in its people, research, and teaching programs to continually build upon the excellence of the Department of Otolaryngology.
