Research Interests: I am interested in the biology of stem cells, stem cell niches and regenerative medicine within the field of hearing biology, with the ultimate goal of reversing hearing loss. Specifically, I am interested in mechanisms of self-renewal and the role of the canonical Wnt pathway in the regeneration of endogenous putative stem/progenitor populations in the inner ear.
