Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery - Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School

Educational Objectives:
This fellowship is a two-year experience designed to produce an academic facial plastic surgeon ready to acquire independent funding as a junior faculty member in an academic setting. Experience is heavy in facial re-animation, free gracilis transfer, nasal surgery, and soft tissue techniques. The cosmetic component is mostly office-based.
Allocation of Time:
The first year consists of mostly research time (80%), with 20% devoted to clinical work. The second year will focus more heavily on clinical work (80%), with 20% devoted to research time.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary and benefits are commensurate with years of training and with that of the other MEEI fellowships. Malpractice coverage is also included.
