Harvard Medical School Program in Otolaryngology
The Harvard Otolaryngology Residency Program provides well-balanced, complete otolaryngology training experience at four clinical venues: The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Children’s Hospital Boston.
In addition to residency training, Harvard Medical School offers six clinical fellowships in otolaryngology subspecialties at Mass. Eye and Ear: Neurotology, Head and Neck Surgery, Thyroid Surgery, Laryngology, Rhinology, and Pediatric Otolaryngology, and three clinical fellowships in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Children's Hospital. At any one time, there are approximately 20 research fellows and pre-and post doctoral students.
Mass. Eye and Ear is a major teaching site for the Ph.D. Speech and Hearing Bioscience and Technology (SHBT) Program sponsored by the HST Program of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Harvard Medical School.
