Pediatric Airways: Everything you wanted to know about Pediatric Laryngotracheal Reconstruction, Tracheostomy Care, and Juvenile Recurrent Respiratory Papilloma
Care of the pediatric patient with critical airway conditions involves a multidisciplinary team approach including physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation centers, care coordination, and the family. This symposium focused on the conditions requiring tracheostomies in children, interventions, post tracheostomy care and discharge needs. This symposium also focused on the pathophysiology, surgical interventions, nursing care and discharge care for children with respiratory papilloma.
