Our specialty services include diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the eye, ear, nose, throat, head and neck. Mass. Eye and Ear is a Harvard Teaching Hospital, a world-renowned research center, and consistently ranks in the top five in U.S.News & World Report’s annual hospital survey.
Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose & Throat Care): 508-378-2059
The General Otolaryngology Service offers a wide range of services in adult and pediatric ear, nose, and throat disorders including treatment of common problems such as chronic sinusitis, sleep apnea (snoring), tonsil and adenoid disorders, chronic ear infections, as well as thyroid and parathyroid disorders and head and neck masses. Common ENT services for children and adults include hearing loss, medical treatment of nose and sinus disease, voice disorders, speech and swallowing problems, as well as all common otologic problems including balance disorders and tinnitus (ringing in ears).

The Audiology Service provides professional hearing health care to individuals of all ages. Clinical services include:
- Comprehensive diagnostic testing to identify and characterize hearing loss.
- Expert hearing aid selection, sales, and fitting.
- Rehabilitative services to provide patients with information and tools to maximize performance with hearing aids, cochlear implants and other assistive devices.

Ophthalmology (Eye Care):

Eye Health Services provides general eye care including prescription of eye glasses, contact lens services, routine annual eye exams and management or referral for a variety of medical eye problems including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye diseases and macular degeneration.
The Optical Shop consists of highly trained, licensed and skilled opticians who work closely with doctors from our specialty ophthalmology services.

Ocular Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery: 508-378-2058
Our expertise includes reconstructive and cosmetic eyelid surgery, laser surgery, treatment of orbital tumors and inflammations (such as thyroid eye disease), removal of eyes (enucleation), and treatment for traumatic lacerations and fractures.
Glaucoma Service: 508-378-2058
Glaucoma affects between 5-10% of Americans over the age of 60 years, but can affect persons of any age. Glaucoma is the leading cause of preventable blindness in African and Latino Americans. People with a family history of glaucoma are at a much greater risk. Glaucoma specialists at Mass. Eye and Ear use the latest technology and equipment to diagnose and treat glaucoma.

Retina Service: 508-378-2058
Retina specialists can care for any disease of the retina including diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration which are leading causes of vision loss in the U.S. adult population. Mass. Eye and Ear was the pioneer in discovering the current new treatments that when applied early can help the patients to a significant extent. Retina specialists at Mass. Eye and Ear also care for eye diseases resulting from such problems as retinal detachment, post cataract complications and eye trauma in addition to screening and caring for intraocular tumors and inherited eye diseases of children and adults.
