Serving as the Medical Director of Otolaryngology at Mass. Eye and Ear, Stoneham, Dr. Michael Rho specializes in treating patients who suffer from the full range of ear, nose, and throat issues. In 1998, he received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he graduated with honors and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He then completed his residency training in otolaryngology at Mass. Eye and Ear/Harvard Medical School in 2005 and was the recipient of the Harvard Otolaryngology Chief Resident Teaching Award. Following training, Dr. Rho joined the Harvard Medical School faculty and now serves as an Instructor in Otolaryngology, Part Time.
Dr. Rho sits on the Board of the Massachusetts Society of Otolaryngology and on the Board of Surgeons at Mass. Eye and Ear. He serves as President of the Harvard Otolaryngology Alumni Association and as Vice President of the Mass. Eye and Ear Alumni Association. Dr. Rho is a member of many national otolaryngology organizations and has published a number of peer-reviewed articles in the field.
Dr. Rho’s clinical interests include medical and surgical management of sinus disease, allergies, laryngology and voice disorders, sleep disorders, pediatric otolaryngology, and hearing loss.
