As Chief Resident and Director of the Eye Trauma Service for the 2016-2017 academic year, Dr. Grob oversees and coordinates trauma coverage at Mass. Eye and Ear and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. In addition, she serves as a mentor, teacher, and peer resource to Harvard Ophthalmology’s 24 residents.
After earning her medical degree from University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, Dr. Grob completed an Ophthalmology residency at Harvard Medical School. Her interests include ocular trauma, periocular and orbital oncology, and ophthalmic plastic reconstructive surgery. As a resident, Dr. Grob received a 2016 American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery Foundation Resident Excellence Award. A prolific scholar, she has published several articles and six book chapters on topics including inflammatory optic neuropathy, orbital malignancies, dry eye therapy, and diabetic retinopathy.
