Angela Turalba, MD

Dr. Turalba completed her undergradute studies (Neuroscience and History of Art and Architecture), graduate studies (Medical Sciences) and medical training at Brown University  before matriculating into Harvard Medical School Department of Ophthalmology Residency Training Program. She then served at Mass. Eye and Ear as the Director of the Ocular Trauma Service and as Chief Resident and continued her training through a gluacoma fellowship. Subsequently, she was appointed to the full-time medical staff of the Department of Ophthalmology and now practices at 243 Charles Street, Boston; Mass. Eye and Ear, East Bridgewater; and the Veterans' Administration Boston Healthcare System.

Genetics of juvenile open angle glaucoma, the histopathology and risk factors for corneal wound burns during phacoemulsification, the incidence of glaucoma following open globe repair, the effects of caffeine on intraocular pressure
