Board-certified in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery with more than 15 years of experience in the community, Dr. Cathy Chong practices general otolaryngology at Mass. Eye and Ear, South, in Weymouth and Duxbury. She earned both her medical degree and Masters in Public Health from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1994. In 1995, she completed her general surgery internship at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton, Massachusetts, and then returned to Tufts University School of Medicine to complete her residency in otolaryngology.
Dr. Chong serves as an executive member of the Board of Massachusetts Society of Otolaryngology, New England Otolaryngological Society, and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery. She has published several peer-reviewed papers in the field.
Her clinical interests include general otology, general pediatric otolaryngology, endoscopic sinus surgery, allergy and sinus disease, head and neck management of systemic disease, thyroid surgery, and obstructive sleep apnea.
