The Department is proud to welcome eminent ophthalmologists from around the world who are performing cutting-edge work in their field. In addition to the lectures, forums are provided over the course of a visit to continue to facilitate the exchange of information. All events are held at Mass. Eye and Ear, 243 Charles St., Boston unless otherwise noted.

Cornea Visiting Professor

The HMS Ophthalmology Cornea Center of Excellence hosts a visiting professor lecture series that draws distinguished faculty from around the country. On the first day, at 4:00pm, Cornea fellows present interesting cases within the visiting professor’s area of expertise, with live patient examinations, and at 5:30pm the visiting professor delivers a lecture. In some cases, the visiting professor delivers a lecture on the following day to the residents from 8:00-9:00am.

Paul A. Chandler Visiting Professor
