Chief Resident

As Chief Resident and Director of the Ocular Trauma Service for the 2017-2018 academic year, Tomasz (Tommy) Stryjewski, MD, oversees and coordinates trauma coverage at Mass. Eye and Ear, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Brigham and Women's Hospital. In addition, he serves as a mentor, teacher, and peer resource to HMS Ophthalmology's 24 residents.

Dr. Stryjewski earned his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Louisiana State University. Subsequently, he earned his MD with honors from Harvard Medical School and a Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans. Later, he earned a Master of Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government, where he was a Dubin Fellow. He completed his Ophthalmology Resdiency at Harvard Medical School.
