Fundraising
Create Your Personal Fundraising Webpage
You can quickly and easily create your own personal fundraising webpage to make it convenient for friends and family to donate to your Team Eye and Ear run online. Here are some quick instructions:
- Go to www.crowdrise.com/TeamEyeAndEar
- Click on the black "Join the Team" button halfway down the page on the right-hand side.
- Click on "Sign Up" in the box that pops up. Enter your personal information to create and account.
- Click on "Join the Team" again in the next box that pops up after you have submitted your information.
- This brings you to your personal Team Eye and Ear page for editing.
- Add Photos: You can upload photos of yourself and/or what you're running for by clicking "Add/Edit Photos" underneath the main photo on the page. Feel free to erase all of the photos that are currently in there, if you would like. We simply ask that you keep the Team Eye and Ear logo as one of the "photos" on your page.
- Write your Story & Enter your Fundraising Goal: Under the "Team Members' Toolkit" click "Edit Project Text". This will bring up another screen where you can enter your fundraising goal (note: this is not necessarily your fundraising minimum) and also enter your personal story - the reason why you're running with Team Eye and Ear for the 2012 Boston Marathon.
- Don't forget to add one last photo to your personal page (different than your team page). This will make your photo appear when viewing all team members. To do this, click on your name next to "TEAM MEMBER:" Under the Crowdrise logo, click "Add/Edit Photos" to upload a photo of yourself.
