Fundraising online is a great way to collect donations.  By creating a personalized fundraising webpage, you will make it easier for your donors to securely donate to support you.  You will also not need to worry about collecting cash, checks, and credit card slips yourself.  You will be able to communicate your fundraising goals, running goals and your reasons for running with Team Eye and Ear with your potential donors.

Getting started is easy!  

It only takes a few minutes to create your online personal fundraising page with FirstGiving:

1.  Go to www.FirstGiving.com/MassEyeAndEar

2.  Click on the "Get Started" button on the top of the page

3.  Select "Boston Marathon 2011" as your event

4.  Register for the event and create your fundraising page

5.  Personalize your text and photo on your online fundraising page to express why you are running with Team Eye and Ear.

6.  Send the link out to your friends, family, colleagues - anyone you think will help you reach your goal. 

7.  Put the link on your social media website and also in your email signature - you never know who may want to donate!
