2013 Annual Meeting Poster Contest
As in the past, the poster contest will be an important part of the Annual Meeting. The contest is open to all non-faculty members and is intended for trainees and other students.
Requirements: Poster abstracts must meet the required format as shown below. If your poster is selected, you must be present at the June 21st judging and award ceremony.
The submission deadline has passed. If your poster is selected, notification will be sent with further instructions regarding the presentation on June 21st.
Eligibility: The Contest is open only to trainees and other students in the Department of Ophthalmology. Work that has been presented at other meetings (including ARVO) is welcome.
Important Dates
April 17, 2013: Submission Deadline
June 21, 2013: 11:40 am—1:40 pm, Poster contest at the Starr Center (with set-up prior to)
June 21, 2013: 3:45 pm, Announcement of the Winners (two $250 awards per category)
Please understand that due to space constraints there will be a finite number of posters to show on June 21. The Committee will make every effort to accommodate viewership for all posters submitted, either on June 21 at the contest or electronically.
Update! Due to fire code restrictions 25 posters in each category will be chosen (not the 36 advertised). Thank you for your understanding and participation.
